What is Life Coaching?
Life Coaching is a non-authoritative, non-dependent, co-creative relationship. The session focuses the spotlight on you and your agenda! Coaching encourages your personal development and for you to be yourself, to expand beyond your limitations and to become a stronger, more alive individual. Life Coaching can be done anywhere. From sitting together face to face, on the phone or even while doing a healthy activity such as walking or jogging.
What can Life Coaching do for you?
Coaching allows you to express yourself by sharing and talking about your thoughts, feelings and worries without judgment or criticism. We simply look at what is holding you back from achieving your highest potential. Being coached allows you not only to express your current thoughts, but to catalyze you into expanding into a way of thinking outside of your situation. You are no longer at the centre, but rather observing and analyzing. We’ll explore new possibilities, and come up with creative solutions which provide you with the satisfying results you are searching for to create a positive life impact. We work together to guide you to your own solutions.

What is my role as a coach?
A personal coach does not remove stresses from your life, but rather helps you to turn them into challenges to be overcome through strengths and resources you may never have known you had. As your coach I will explore without manipulation and just be. I will help you clarify your goals, provide perspectives, support and hold you accountable for your plan of action so that you can achieve your goals. You will begin to make meaningful choices that simplify your life and reduce stress.
It is my promise to...
Be honest. Share with you the times when you do not act in keeping with your values and beliefs and encourage you when you do. When I hear a funny tone in your voice, or notice something amiss, I'll ask you about it. Often it is these small moments that offer the best chance to resolve something. However, I don't confront or push; I'll merely invite you to look at something more analytically.
For better or worse. I will celebrate your wins and support you in your set-backs.
Give you homework. I will sometimes ask that you come up with specific goals or actions to work on between calls. If it is too much, say so.
To invite you. If you have a personal problem, are disturbed about something, are just starting to realize something big, or can't wait to share a big win, call or email me. Anytime.
Honour your privacy. You can expect an atmosphere of complete trust and confidentiality. As your coach, I will not disclose any details of our conversations without your express and full permission.
What is your role as a client?
Engaging in a life coaching session is like packing for a picnic. The things you need to include are an agenda (a struggle, situation, or something that is of concern), an open and honest disposition, a willingness to be heard, to share, and to be challenged, flexibility in your current ways of thinking, an active communication attitude of responding and engaging, the willingness to enhance your self-confidence and positive self-talk and a sense of commitment to your values. It is also your role to be sure that you respect the duration of each call that has been agreed upon.
What coaching is NOT
Coaching is not therapy, counseling or psychology. You will not be diagnosed or "fixed" nor will you have your coach tell you how to solve any problem or make any choices for you. Coaching focuses on your strengths not weakness and the future not the past. It is a commitment to forward thinking and forward actions, and should not be mistaken for therapeutic intervention. Coaching is about looking to the future and moving towards a destination. It's “carpe diem” seizing the day, leveraging what's right, and creating the future.
How long does Life Coaching take?
Weekly coaching sessions usually last between 45-60 minutes. Some people prefer to conduct these meetings in person, while others find the phone more convenient. These sessions are regular so as to help you keep momentum.
By having weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly sessions talking about your successes or even your big misses, you will begin to feel the benefits of being coached in every aspect of your life. The best part of having these conversations happen regularly is that they keep you on-track and focused on achieving your goals.
Between all coaching sessions emails are always welcomed. Keeping a journal about your daily thoughts or questions is helpful in making your next booked coaching session that much more successful

Rates
What does Life Coaching cost?
• Monthly tele-coaching fees are $240(CDN). Includes four 60-minute sessions
• Monthly in-person coaching is available. Each session is $60 and an additional fee is charged depending on distance traveled as well as traveling time. Most areas will be considered, both inside and outside of Canada.
